Critter Class
I: INVERTEBRATES
Feb 15 - 19 |
This workshop is a companion to the vertebrate workshop, taught last
semester. In this study of
zoology we will take a more detailed look at invertebrates and further
explore the scientific classification system. This five-day study will
feature specimens representative of the major groups of invertebrates! Here
is the opportunity to become more familiar with the aquatic animal that are
commonly found in tidal zones. You will see the complexity of invertebrates
study the characteristics of how they differ from
invertebrates. Each workshop will consist of a lecture period, class
discussion/activity and dissection. In order to accommodate two grade
ranges, two sections of this workshop will be offered. No prerequisites or
prior science studies required. |
