Here is the opportunity for students to attend science lab workshops and experience science hands-on! These workshops provide the hands-on experience to supplement many science curricula and allow students the opportunity to do science labs while having fun in the process.

STUDENTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN:

  • dissections

  • experiments

  • microscope use

  • class discussions & activities

  Workshops are taught by Lisa Long, a graduate of UAA with a degree in Biological Sciences. As a home-school graduate she recognizes the need for science education. Lisa teaches workshops in Wasilla, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kodiak & Juneau.
